The CAC Malaga currently has 2 temporary exhibitions running;

It is worth mentioning that there are 4 Warhol`s, a Basquiat and a sculpture by

NMAC - Contemporary art and nature

This is a not to be missed experience of sculptures in a Mediterranean pine forest. You can do it in a day-trip to the Costa de la Luz. It is on the N340 between Tarifa and Barbate.
There is a wide range of contemporary art,but I think the particular "jewel´s in the crown " are James Turrell´s " Second Wind 2005", Huang Yong Ping´s " Hamman " and Marina Abramovic´s " Human Nests ".
