   De la Frontera
Southern Spain is fortunate to have three societies with DFAS de la Frontera
being the most recent addition. It was founded in 2005 to meet the needs of
those living  on, and visiting, the western end of the Costa del Sol.
Based close to Sotogrande the society'smain catchment area is from Marbella
along the coast to La Linea and inland to Casares, Gaucin, and Jimena de la
Frontera; the name 'de la Frontera' coming from the border between the
reconquering Christian forces of Fernando & Isabel and the crumbling
   Moorish empire.
