Travel 2011 - 2012

For the 2012 Travel programme we have arranged some very exciting trips beginning in February with a " not to miss" trip to El Prado for the Hermitage Exhibition.

February 29th 2012: El Prado Hermitage Exhibition

Day trip to El Prado in Madrid to see the remarkable, temporary Hermitage exhibition of paintings, sculptures and other items once belonging to the Russian Tsars. This is a unique exhibition and one not to miss. Cost including AVE train, entrance fee and audio guides: 100€ for 60-65 age group and 94€ if age is 65 or more.

March 20th 2012 - Daytrip to Malaga to visit the Automobile Museum

The Automobile Museum is housed in the old tobacco factory.  You don't have to be a car enthusiast to enjoy the museum.  The main attraction is the 93 cars on display, with models ranging from the 1920īs to today, but there are also art works, created from car parts and a collection of costumes and designer hats.  Entrance fee: 6€ or 3€ for 65+ age group.  Optional tapas afterwards. All costs such as train tickets from Fuengirola to Malaga and back, refreshments and entrance fees are on a pay as you go basis.
